The 9th Session of the CliC Scientific Steering Group was held from 4-7 February at the Alfred Wegener Institute in Potsdam, hosted by the International Arctic Science Committee. The meeting began with a critical look at that state of the CliC project and where new foci may be necessary. Several new CliC Targeted Activities were approved. These activities are meant to be ~2 years in duration and produce tangible results. Longer term efforts such as working groups and forums on various topics were also discussed.
