We are happy to announce a 3-day Global Glacier Modeling Workshop to be held in Oslo, Norway, 10-12 February, 2025.
This meeting aims to bring together global glacier modelers, providing a platform for knowledge exchange and collaboration. The focus will be on modeling glaciers on a global scale (or regional, i.e. covering at least one entire region of the Randolph Glacier Inventory). The event will include oral and poster presentations. The agenda will be designed to allow ample time for networking and in-depth discussions, fostering connections and collaboration.
An (open) business meeting of the CliC Glacier Modeling Intercomparison Project (GlacierMIP) will be held on 12 February, where we will discuss the next phase of GlacierMIP. A fourth day (13 Feb) is reserved for direct collaboration discussions/meetings.
