Survey - By Invitation Only

This survey is by invitation only - its meant for the distinguished early career researchers who have received travel support from the International Arctic Science Committee between 2007 and 2013.

The Association of Polar Early Career Scientists (APECS), The Climate and Cryosphere project (CliC) and International Arctic Science Committee  (IASC) have recognized that it is of great importance to foster and support early career researchers (ECRs) working on Arctic research issues and to provide opportunities and training to prepare them for a successful career in Arctic research.

“Where are they now?” is a project to follow up with ECRs that have received travel funding from IASC between 2007 to 2013. The goal of this project is to assess whether IASC support has helped foster careers and provide suggestions on how to further enhance the support and training of ECRs.

This survey asks you, a recipient of IASC funds, for your opinion on various career related issues. Answers to these questions will be used for the purposes of this project and when published, no names will be used and your identity will be protected.

The survey starts with a set of demographic questions that will be used for statistical purposes. It is then divided into 2 parts – one for those of you who are still working in Arctic related careers (either in academia, policy, education and outreach or management etc.), and another tract for those who are no longer working on Arctic issues.

At the end of the survey you will have the option to fill in your email address to receive information about the results and outcome of the survey.

If you cannot see the form below, please download the MS Word version, fill it out and send it to Gerlis Fugmann.
